MASHA GROUP LANKA represents a continuing journey of education, professional development, entrepreneurship, beauty, psychology, counselling and holistic wellness. The institution has developed progressively under the leadership and vision of its founder, DAH-ABHIMANI MOHAMED SITHTHY MARZOOKA, whose professional experience spans several decades.

The foundation of this journey was built through education and a strong interest in guiding and developing people. The founder received her early Montessori education at St. Anthony’s Montessori, Colombo, and later continued her education at St. Paul’s Girls’ School, Milagiriya. Even during her school years, she conducted tuition classes, developing an early passion for teaching and supporting young learners.

1990 : Early Professional Development

Masha Group Lanka’s professional journey began with training in Japan as a Floppy Disk Assembler Trainee.

This early experience helped develop important qualities such as:

  • Leadership.
  • Teamwork.
  • Discipline.
  • Technical knowledge.
  • Professional responsibility.

1992–1995 : Education and Child Development

During this period, further education and experience were gained in child development and teaching.

Key achievements included:

  • Completion of AMI Montessori education.
  • Preschool education and child psychology studies.
  • Experience as a Montessori Assistant.
  • Experience as a class teacher.
  • Development of practical knowledge in early childhood education.

1995 : The Beginning of Masha Group Lanka

Masha Group Lanka began with the establishment of Masha House of Montessori.

The organization later joined the Japan–Sri Lanka Friendship School as an English Teacher and Child Psychology professional. This stage marked the beginning of a broader commitment to education, child development, and professional service.

2000 : Expansion into Beauty Culture

Masha Group Lanka expanded into the field of beauty and personal care through the establishment of the Beauty Culture Institute.

The institute became involved in:

  • Beauty education.
  • Radio Ceylon educational programs.
  • Beauty and wellness awareness.
  • Entrepreneurship development.
  • Professional beauty training.

2001–2003 : International Experience

International professional experience was gained in Saudi Arabia as a Montessori Teacher.

Returning to Sri Lanka brought:

  • Valuable international exposure.
  • A broader understanding of education and service.
  • New professional insight.
  • A renewed vision for the future of Masha Group Lanka.

1995–2010 : Psychology, Counselling, and Teaching

During this period, experience expanded across psychology, counselling, and education.

Professional roles included:

  • Psychology Practitioner.
  • Class Teacher.
  • School Matron.
  • Islamic Studies Teacher.

These experiences strengthened the organization’s understanding of education, personal development, counselling, and community service.

2013 — Expansion of Masha Group Lanka

Masha Group Lanka expanded its services into several new areas, including:

  • Psychology and counselling.
  • Beauty culture training.
  • Cake and cookery training.
  • Professional beauty services.
  • Personal development programs.
  • Skills-based education.

2016 Onwards — Holistic Wellness Journey

From 2016 onwards, Masha Group Lanka developed a stronger focus on natural wellness and complementary health practices.

Knowledge and experience were gained through:

  • Apex Aura Healthcare.
  • Ayurveda.
  • Unani medicine.
  • Siddha practices.
  • Complementary wellness.
  • Natural and traditional approaches to health.

This phase strengthened the organization’s holistic approach to mind, body, beauty, and soul.
